UK: CB Leading Economic Index grows 0.4% in April

The UK CB Leading Economic Index increased 0.4% in April, following a 0.4% rise also in March, the Conference Board reported today.

EMU: Annual Industrial Production decline slows down in March

Year-over-year Eurozone Industrial Production fell 1.7% in March, following a 3.2% decrease the previous month, Eurostat informed on Tuesday. This result is more positive than the 2.2% drop projected by economists.

Forex Flash: Bunds grounded by support in bearish outlook – RBS

The market gained support at 144.43, after forming a Tweezer top pattern (prior low equals to the open). According to Technical Strategist Dmytro Bondar at RBS, “Some consolidation is expected above the 144.35 polarity level, but the market remains bearish amid head and shoulders pattern with initial targets of 144.24 and 143.54.”
