US stocks collapses on Thursday and drags to a monthly decline
FXStreet (San Francisco) - Wall Street fell hard on Thursday as investors' confidence was hurt by Argentina’s default, Ukraine and Israel conflicts and Chicago PMI. First monthly decline in Dow and S&P since January.
The Dow Jones collapsed 317.06 points or 1.88% to closed the day at 16,563.30; On the month, the DJIA declined 1.53%.
The S&P 500 eased 39.40 pts or 2.0% in the day to finish at 1,930.67; In the monthly basis, the S&P wrapped up Juy with 2.41% fell. The Nasdaq Composite lost 93.13 pts or 2.09% to end the day at 4,369.77 and the month with 0.87% losses.
