NZD/USD drops to 8-week lows
FXStreet (Córdoba) - The NZD/USD slide further below 0.8500 and hit a fresh low at 0.8462. Currently trades at 0.8465, down 0.47% from today’s opening price. The Kiwi is falling for the fifth day in a row against the US dollar and is approaching fast to June lows that lie at 0.8401.
Greenback continues with strong momentum across the board ahead of the FOMC statement and following a better-than-expected GDP report from the US.
NZD/USD technical levels
To the downside, immediate support lies at 0.8460/65 (daily low) and below here at 0.8435 and 0.8400/05 (June low). Potential resistance levels might be located at 0.8490 (July 29 low) and 0.8525/30.
