Moscow and Washington agree to work with the Ukraine government
FXStreet (Bali) - According to the Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov, via Reuters, Moscow and Washington have agreed to work with the Ukraine government and its people to overcome the crisis.
Additional headlines from Reuters included US Secretary of State Kerry saying "US and Russia made suggestions to de-escalate tensions over Ukraine", adding "he made clear US still considers Russia actions in crimea to be illegal and illegitimate."
"Kerry also raised with Russia's Lavrov 'strong concerns' of US about presence of Russian forces on Ukraine border, which is creating climate of fear and intimidation", adding that "both sides made suggestions on how to de-escalate security and political situation in and around Ukraine."
Lavrov also said "Kerry agreed on necessity to seek "points of tangency" with US on Ukraine to express common diplomatic position on crisis."
