Focus is now on Yellen next week - ANZ
Analysts at ANZ noted that there are no Australian data of note released today.
Key Quotes:
"The AUD continues to struggle above USD0.77, unwinding gains
Following the strong employment headline yesterday. With a lack of data today, the market will look ahead to Yellen's speech next week, given the weakness of the USD. Market pricing of a hike in September remains low, at just 20%.
RATES: Rates markets were largely range-bound overnight. Yields ultimately finished modestly lower in the major markets and Australia moved inline. Markets should be quiet this morning and little changed from overnight.
COMMODITIES: The weaker USD has seen investor appetite pick up strongly. This should see commodities push higher in trading today."
