Eurozone: Retail sales to post solid increase – Danske Bank

FXStreet (Delhi) – Research Team at Danske Bank, expect that today’s release of Euro area retail sales will post a strong number on August and they are looking for a solid increase of 0.4% m/m for the second month in a row supported by a drop in gasoline prices lately (consensus -0.1% m/m).

It dropped from a fairly high level in September and is likely to fall further following the EM turmoil as also indicated by the big drop in the German ZEW index.
