Goldman's CEO on Fed hike – ‘I Wouldn't Do It’

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The Fed shouldn't decide for a rate lift-off during its September meeting, Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein told the Wall Street Journal late Wednesday.

"I wouldn’t do it," Blankfein told the audience during the Wall Street Journal meet in New York.

UK retail sales growth in August slowed more than expected

The data released by the UK Office for National Statistics (ONS) in the UK showed the sustained strength in the labor markets and the uptick in the wage growth did push households to spend at a faster rate in August.
